Edge-autonomy silicon led the basket as the chip complex rebounded, while the defensive bid into primes reversed and the speculative battery rung kept bleeding.

The leader was Lattice Semiconductor (LSCC), up 4.9% to $108.73, and it led from the autonomy-compute chokepoint as the broad chip complex staged a relief bounce. Monday ended the Philadelphia Semiconductor Index's eight-session losing streak — its longest in 18 years — with the index up 1.6%, and the low-power-FPGA rung that supplies drone flight-control and sensor-fusion silicon rode that reversal hard. There was no single Lattice disclosure behind it; this was the edge-silicon rung recovering with the tape. Ambarella (AMBA) added 1.7% to $62.76 and NVIDIA (NVDA) 1.4% to $217.09 on the vision-and-inference rung alongside it, with Mercury Systems (MRCY) up 2.3% to $75.99 and Lantronix (LTRX) 2.7% to $5.76.

The laggard was Enovix (ENVX), down 5.6% to $2.35 — the batteries-and-energy-density chokepoint's most speculative public proxy. It extended a long downtrend on light volume with no confirmed session catalyst, trading well below its 50- and 200-day averages after its CEO's August resignation; the drop is deleveraging, not news. The structural read: a pre-revenue silicon-anode bet is first out the door when risk rotates back into mega-cap semiconductors, regardless of the long-run energy-density thesis. Amprius (AMPX) fell 1.6% to $7.59 on the same rung.

The rest of the tape inverted Friday's risk-off posture. The defensive bid into the prime rung reversed: RTX (RTX) slipped 0.9% to $192.11, L3Harris (LHX) 1.9% to $243.84, BAE Systems' ADR (BAESY) 1.9% to $103.70, Kratos (KTOS) 3.1% to $39.17 and AeroVironment (AVAV) 3.2% to $117.90 — the interceptors-and-airframes rung gave back its safe-haven gains as money rotated toward growth. The rare-earth-magnet rung stayed soft into its November deadline: MP Materials (MP) −3.0% to $38.95, USA Rare Earth (USAR) −4.3% to $10.09, Energy Fuels (UUUU) −3.7% to $8.16 and Umicore's ADR (UMICY) −4.6% to $5.37, against Lynas (LYSCF) +1.0% to $7.78. Counter-UAS pure-play DroneShield (DRSHF) edged up 0.4% to $1.044.

The hard dates ahead still sit on the magnet-and-material chokepoint: China's one-year suspension of its October 2025 rare-earth export controls expires November 10, and the gallium/germanium/antimony suspension November 27 — both re-tighten NdFeB and EO/IR inputs. Further out, the FAA's Part 108 BVLOS final rule is due December 31, and on January 1 the NDAA §844/§854 ban on Chinese-melted or -fabricated magnets and the FCC Covered List exemption sunset both bite. Until then, expect the autonomy-compute and vision-silicon rungs to track the semiconductor tape and the magnet rung to trade the November expiries.
